12 Daily Steps to a Healthy Lifestyle!
Know your "Health is your Wealth"...then find a farmers market & health food store near you.
- Think Positive - "You are what you Think!" Your thoughts become your Reality. Watch your thoughts because they create things! Positive Daily Affirmations will help this process. Say all day to yourself. "I will be Happy & Healthy!" Go pass the believing it, just Know it!
- Exercise just 15 minutes a day – Walk, dance, yoga, and sex- whatever is comfortable for you. Just gets your heart pumping continuously for 15minutes. Exercise is essential to proper body function and keeps everything flowing. Regular exercise allows oxygen in the cells and helps metabolize nutrients better. Helping the toxins get through and eliminated out of the body. Exercise also increases energy and reduces stress levels when you focus on your routine and deep breathing.
- Restful Sleep - Get 6-8 hrs of good sound sleep is required for most people every night. When we sleep the body rebuilds, and replenish itself, it is crucial to the body’s growth, the immune system and the body’s healing process. It is best to sleep on an empty stomach, so the body can use this time to work on rebuilding and not digesting food.
- Do your research – know what you are eating & why. Read the label on everything you eat. Also Google foods you want to know more about - you will be surprised what's in your food & may even question why is that product in there - if it has too many big words, colors, dyes & numbers It's has too chemicals. "Knowledge is Power!" After you eat pay attention to how you feel. What you eat today will affect you tomorrow & up to a week or so later - "You or What You Eat."
- Drink Alkaline water (only 4 to 5 8oz cups per day), Spring or Mineral water (8oz cup every hour on the hour). Drink water only from clear plastic, blue or glass bottles. The cloudy plastic leaches into the water easier, especially when there is a temperature change. Don't drink water stored outside a gas station, grocery store. Also stay away from purified and distilled water as they rob the body of vitamins & minerals.
- Only use Sea Salt to season your food and to cook with - the body needs salt to cleanse the organs from toxins. Grey Sea Salt is best due to its vitamin & mineral count – obtained by evaporated seawater; you can actually see it in the salt. Table salt is made with a chemical compound formula NaCl and robs the body of vital minerals.
- Take a Whole Food Multi-vitamin everyday – complete with superfood complex, Trace Minerals, Immune Factors & more. Get your gender based vitamin for correct hormonal balance. Men get the men formula & women get the women formula
- Take 1tsp of Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar on an empty stomach - first thing in the am is best. This will help balance the body - hormones, weight loss, sinus (breathing), colds & helps inflammation of body cells. It is noted as being a “Women's best friend!”
- Take 2 tablespoons of Udo's Omega 3, 6 & 9 oil with food - to restore & strengthen your immune function and cardiovascular health. It also helps with depression, anxiety & other mental disorders.
- Eat more fresh fruits & veggies - (can foods don't count- frozen is ok). Eat as much of your favorite fruit & vegetable as you like, the way you like it. Have a fresh salad as often as possible. Cut down on meats in your diet wherever possible.
- Cook with Olive Oil known as the "perfect food" - it's good for muscles, aches, pains, dry skin & digestion - Extra Virgin Olive Oil is known as "liquid gold."
- Take a 1 tsp of Fiber a day - until you are sure you are getting enough thru your diet. How will you know? You will have a "good" bowel movement 2 to 3 times a day. Fiber is necessary to get all the toxins out of your body! So they don't sit there & create disease.
Remember changing your lifestyle is a process - it’s best to truly understand why you do what you do - especially when you don't get the results you are looking for. You have to do something different than what you have always done, to get different results - Do your research.
